My name is Laurie, I am French, a certified French teacher and the founder of Frenchie Classes.

I have been a language student and an expat for most of my adult life: I was an expat in England during 5 years and I have been an expat in Spain for almost 4 years. I have been through the whole process of learning English and understanding the culture, and I am doing it all over again with Spanish! So I know and understand the challenges expats can face when learning a new language and living in a foreign country.

After a few years working in public and private schools, I decided to create Frenchie Classes, my online school for expats in France. My aim is to help expats to learn the French language and feel more confident, as well as help them understand the culture and how the French system works. This is something I needed but didn't have when I moved country so I am now helping and guiding expats to move to France, in particular via French learning.
